As an Express Policy Servicing Agent, you will work with growers of corn, soybeans, oats, barley, wheat, apples, blueberries, cranberries, sweet corn, peaches, grapes, and grain sorghum. You will help these growers choose risk management solutions that best fit their business model and risk appetite. As the relationship manager for these growers, you will assist them by reviewing crop insurance policies, quoting insurance options, troubleshooting, and ensuring appropriate reporting to comply with Federal Crop Insurance requirements. Communication with your grower customers will primarily occur by phone, so effective communication skills are critical.

Location: The Express Policy Servicing Agent will be based in our Cortland, NY office.
With minimal supervision, depending upon experience, the Express Policy Servicing Agent is accountable for the following:
Crop Insurance and Policy Servicing: Maintain and promote industry leading product knowledge and expertise in crop insurance through effective communication with customers over the phone. Assure all product processing is completed timely, accurately, and within regulatory compliance by assisting and training customers in the completion of required applications, acreage and production reports.
Member Relations/Teamwork: Provide outstanding customer service (both internal and external) and deliver exceptional customer experience and value by setting, communicating and meeting customer expectations. Demonstrate a strong community commitment and professional presence that contributes to the overall positive image of the ACA. Act in a forthright and ethical manner, display a positive attitude and contribute positively to the overall morale of the team and association. Assist other team members and contribute to training.
This position requires an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field.
Experience in an insurance agency is desired. If not already obtained, the New York State Property and Casualty license must be obtained within the first year of employment. Strong communication, computer, and organization skills are required.
